Feral Hogs Roam Fort Worth Neighborhood

A Fort Worth neighborhood was overtaken by feral hogs on Sunday after the dangerous animals escaped from the Frontier Meats slaughter house.
A total of 30 hogs could be seen racing down several streets. Police and animal control officers used tranquilizer darts to subdue the swine. Less than half the hogs were captured before nightfall.

Existing-home sales rise 18% in DFW

North Texas home sales got a spark of good news Monday with a report that sales of existing homes rose 18 percent in July.
Buyers in the 29-county region purchased 6,079 homes last month, according to the Texas A&M Real Estate Center report.
But year to date, existing home sales are down 9 percent, with 37,009 homes sold from January through July. More >
